I am building "Build in Public" Automatizer

Hi,

I find posting and tracking my products in public quite challenging. Because it feels like a whole job for me. So I decided to build something for myself. But I am also new into the build-in public mentality. So what other features are necessary other than what I did so far?

So I built a simple todo list on top of the Airtable, Zapier, Twitter API, Buffer etc. I am using Ivy Lee productivity method to track my daily todos. And when I accomplish my todos, it's tweeting about what did I do.

I am currently implementing a success chart as well. So whenever I exceed one of my predefined success metrics the system also tweets. I am trying to implement timing and reposting features in Airtable at the moment.

I think it will be better for me. I need to be more productive to be able to tweet now :) Currently, I am testing it on one of my throwaway Twitter accounts but I want to be sure that I am not missing anything before I bring it to my personal account.

What are the things do you think I should focus on? I am really pumped about the concept but maybe there are some edges that I am not thinking about building in public.

I thought that building in public means sharing experience, not just demonstrating success metrics. But I can be wrong.

Building in public feels like hard work because it is. It is learning how to blog and how to build community. But this is just my opinion :)

That's true, but I am only 1 and it takes alot of time to post and engage :) I thought my to-do list can be posted as updates. Eventually it's win-win. The more I work, the more I will post :)

I use forum of that kind, people post to do lists. People who make the same reports every day have few followers and likes. People who put effort and turn their to do reports to blog posts get ton of help and attention.

This forum is smartprogress.do , check out if you want. It's russian btw.

I think solution in learning copywriting and storytelling. It is not as hard as it seems and definitely helps. With that skillset you will be able to create amazing post in 30 min.
