I am just a Python Developer or CTO in my small company?

I have been working on a small company (12 employees). I am the tech guy and solve multiple technical things like server administration, python development, PHP bug fixing and so on.

I am not managing anyone, I just hire some persons from time to time for specific tasks. Can I say I am CTO of that company? I have around 15 years of experience in Software Development and Linux administration.

Thanks

Are you calling the shots regarding the tech?

Do you take responsibility for the entire tech of the company? Including infrastructure, its costs, etc.?

Does CEO talk to you directly about tech related stuff and delegates it entirely to you?

Yes, I take all technical decissions and advice directly to the CEO about tech stuff, hardware and software.

        Following wiki:

[CTO] is the highest technology executive position within a company and leads the technology or engineering department"

So to my mind, given your replies above, you are a true CTO : )
