Like many other solo founders, I know the pain of marketing. I kept going in a vicious cycle and asking myself why I wasn't getting any users.
Spend 3 months building app -> Launch -> Do very little marketing -> Get no users -> Start new app
I was tired of going around in this cycle so I decided I would force myself to market consistently, but I did it in my own lazy way.
I would usually scroll reddit and twitter a lot as those are great places to find customers, so I thought, hey what if I automate this scrolling?
So I spent a month building this tool that scans reddit and twitter 24/7 and automatically sends me conversations relevant to my product. I then spend 10 - 15 minutes a day replying and sneakily promoting my projects.
I've had a few people ask for a demo so I decided to build it out fully. It's called mentionping.com
I'm hoping it can also get results for others just like me-- us lazy marketers :)
