I build a Twitter bot as growth hack for visibility

So as am building tradeplan.io, one of the biggest issue is to get people to know about the app itself.

One of the early ideas was to do a twitter giveaway. Why twitter ? Well for crypto, specially twitter is good were my ideal user normally hangout.

But the issue with giveaway is I don't trust them, it's normally flooded by account for retweet and giveaway sake only. Those account hardly have normal looking user. Most look like bots.

So what's the next best option ?
Twitter bot !

I am a big fan of "remind me later" & "unroll thread" type of bot that add value to the twitter eco system and I always wanted to make a tool to expose crypto influencer who just shill shit coins.

So I made #pricecheck.

Basically u go to any tweet and type,
"@tradeplanIO #pricecheck ETH" for example and the bot will show the change in ethereum price from the time of the main tweet till the time u wrote the reply.

So incase the original tweet was saying some coin is good to buy, u can instantly check if its actually true or false.

Let me know how I can improve the bot and what u think of this growth hack.
