Hey Indie Hackers! ๐
I'm Sebastien. After years working in IT Audit and Cybersecurity, Iโm obsessed with clean data and strict reporting.
Recently, I needed to check the technical SEO health of a few sites. I got frustrated because the market is split in two:
โ Enterprise Suites: Powerful but super expensive (Ahrefs, Semrush).
โ Complicated Dashboards: Tools that look like spaceship controls.
So, I decided to build my own solution this weekend using Python.
๐ง Meet Braynly
Itโs a minimalist technical auditor. The goal is simple: Enter a URL -> Get a Score -> Fix issues.
Why it's different:
โ Focus on Action: It identifies the top 3 priorities immediately.
โก Instant Global Score: Speed, Security, Accessibility, and Google Visibility.
๐ก๏ธ Audit-Mindset: I applied my background in ISO 27001 auditing to SEO checks.
๐ ๏ธ The Stack
For those interested in the build:
Backend: Python (Requests, BeautifulSoup for scraping/analysis).
Frontend: Simple HTML/CSS/JS (kept it dark mode & fast).
Hosting: Scalable cloud structure.
๐ My Request for Feedback
Iโm launching the MVP today. As builders, I would love your honest take:
Does the "Technical Score" feel accurate for your site?
Is the report clear enough for a non-expert?
๐ You can try it here: https://braynly.ai/
Thanks for the support! ๐
This looks interesting, Sebastien. I work with a small team of SaaS enthusiasts and founders whoโd be happy to try Braynly on real sites and give you honest, practical feedback on the technical score and reports. We can also help support the Product Hunt launch with upvotes, reviews and early traction to gain active users, if thatโs helpful. Let me know if this sounds good to you.
