I write almost everything in Markdown — notes, drafts, documentation, and project ideas. It’s fast, clean, and distraction-free.
But whenever I needed to share those documents with clients, teammates, or non-technical stakeholders, I hit the same wall: they wanted Word files.
Most existing tools felt overkill for such a simple need. They required signups, installations, or produced DOCX files with broken formatting (tables and code blocks were usually the first to break).
So I built Markdown to Word Online.
It’s a small web tool that lets you paste Markdown, preview the result instantly, and download a clean .docx file. No accounts, no setup — just convert and move on.

This is my first step toward building small, focused tools that remove friction from everyday workflows. I’m curious:
Do you also write in Markdown but need to deliver Word files?
What usually breaks when you convert Markdown to DOCX?
What would make a tool like this genuinely useful for you?
Any feedback is welcome. I’m still iterating.
