Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I just launched Claustar - an AI-guided contract creation platform built for founders, freelancers, and small businesses.
The idea is simple: instead of handing you a blank template and wishing you luck, Claustar asks about your situation first. Who are you hiring, what are they delivering, what state are you in, what happens if things go sideways. Then it builds the contract around your answers.
I built this after creating 80+ contracts for my own product brand across factories, vendors, agencies, and contractors. No legal background. No budget for a lawyer. I lived every painful version of this problem before building the solution.
What Claustar does:
Guided intake flow that asks the right questions before drafting anything
Generates contracts tailored to your specific situation
Built on attorney-reviewed templates
Plain-English output you can actually read and understand
Jurisdiction-aware - because state law matters
The goal is to make professional contract creation accessible to anyone running a business, without a $500 lawyer bill every time you need an agreement.

Launching next week. Would love feedback from the community on the product, the positioning, or anything that would make you actually use this. 🙏
