I built Bloom — an AI-powered tool to practice speaking out loud. Would love feedback.

Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a small side project called Bloom:

Bloom is a simple space to practice speaking out loud. You can pick from a small library of videos, use any YouTube video, or paste in your own text. Bloom turns it into a teleprompter so you can speak, record yourself, and get AI feedback on clarity, pacing, and articulation.

The idea is to make speaking practice easy and pressure-free. It’s useful for anyone working on presentations, interviews, or public speaking, and it’s been especially helpful for students who don’t get many chances to practice before they have to perform.

I’m early and still figuring out:

Is the core idea useful?

Does the AI feedback feel helpful or too generic?

What’s confusing or unnecessary?

Who do you think this is most valuable for?

I’d really appreciate any honest feedback—critical or positive.
Thanks for taking a look 🙏

Cool concept and nice early scope. If I were tightening this for better retention, I’d run 3 quick tests:

    1. Show one before/after sample report (same speaker week 1 vs week 3) so outcomes feel concrete.
    2. Keep first session feedback to just 3 visible scores (clarity, pace, filler words); hide the rest behind “advanced”.
    3. Ask context first (interview / class / presentation) so AI feedback feels less generic.

If useful, I can share a short teardown format we use for tightening messaging + first-session conversion: https://roastmysite.io/go.php?src=external_manual_nonhn_bloom_speaking_20260327_b1_usd_presell_hv
