I’ve been building ClearScribe AI, an iOS app designed for recording, transcription, translation, and AI-powered summaries.
The idea came from a simple frustration: a transcript by itself is often not the final result people actually need.
You can record a meeting, a voice note, a lecture, or a conversation and get the words back on the screen, but that still leaves the real work undone. You still have to read through everything, pull out the key points, identify action items, and turn raw text into something useful.
That is the problem I wanted to solve with ClearScribe AI.
The goal is not just to convert speech into text, but to help people move from audio to clarity in a smoother way. Instead of stopping at transcription, the app is built to help users continue the workflow with summaries, action items, cleaner notes, and AI-assisted follow-up.
At the moment, ClearScribe AI is focused on:
• recording or importing audio
• transcription and translation
• AI summaries and action items
• Ask AI on saved notes
• video URL summarization
• multilingual support, including RTL languages
I’m continuing to improve it step by step, with Version 2.0 focused on making the experience more complete, polished, and useful in everyday work.
It is still early, but it is shipping, improving, and moving forward.
I’d genuinely value honest feedback from other founders and builders here:
Is this a problem you think people are willing to pay to solve?
And beyond that, what would make a tool like this useful enough for you to keep using it regularly?
