I built FounderDiscover to help people discover the founders behind products

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹

I just launched FounderDiscover.

The idea came from a simple observation:

We discover thousands of SaaS products and startups, but we often know very little about the founders building them.

So I wanted to create a platform focused on both sides:

πŸ‘€ The founder
πŸš€ The product

On FounderDiscover, founders can create a profile, showcase their SaaS/tools/products, add their social links and let the community discover and support what they're building.

Visitors can browse founders and products by category and discover new things being built.

I'm starting small and looking for the first group of founders to join.

If you're building a SaaS, AI tool, startup, website, micro-SaaS or another digital product, I'd love to have you on the platform.

πŸ‘‰ https://founderdiscover.com

I'm especially interested in feedback from founders:

What would make you want to keep your FounderDiscover profile updated and actively use the platform?

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Congrats on the launch β€” and love the premise: founders *do* struggle to get discovered. Since that's literally the problem you're solving, I ran a free AI-visibility scan on FounderDiscover (asked ChatGPT, Gemini & Perplexity-style engines 5 realistic questions about founder discovery platforms). Fast read: you're the #1 pick for "best founder discovery platform" and the AIs even nailed your differentiation verbatim β€” "ranking driven by voting, not just submitted product URLs." GPT also ranked you #1 in "top founder discovery platforms in 2026" (ahead of YC Co-Founder Matching and FoundersBase), and a third-party directory (Viberank) is already cited as a source next to your own site β€” 10 days in, that's fast. The one gap: Gemini's 2026 roundup still answers from launch-directory brands (Product Hunt, F6S…), because independent articles about you are thin on the ground β€” that's the "no third-party coverage" caveat too, and it's fixable. I wrote up the full 5-question report with the exact quotes + which directories to target this week. Want me to send it over? (And curious β€” would a weekly AI-visibility report be useful for you?)

Humanizing products by spotlighting the builders behind them is a compelling angle in an era where consumers increasingly value authenticity and founder stories over faceless corporate marketing. If FounderDiscover can successfully turn founder visibility into a reliable growth driver for launches, it creates a powerful win-win ecosystem where personal branding directly fuels product adoption.

What would make a founder come back after creating the profile? Discovery alone may not be enough without some recurring value.

A founder community will be established here, and the aim is to create a platform for founders to engage in daily discussions.

That gives it a clearer recurring use case than discovery alone. I’d be interested in digging into how you expect that daily discussion loop to actually bring founders back. Happy to continue privately β€” what’s the best email to reach you on?
