I built free virtual keyboards for 100+ languages

I'm Younes, a network engineer in Sweden building side projects. AnyKeyboard is one of them.

The problem: Millions of people need to type in languages their physical keyboard doesn't support. Students writing in Arabic, developers testing Unicode, expats messaging family in Hindi or Thai. The existing solutions (Lexilogos, Branah) work but feel stuck in 2005.

What I built: AnyKeyboard - a modern, fast virtual keyboard site supporting 100+ languages. Open it, pick your language, start typing. No installs, no accounts, no friction.

Languages include:

• Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Hebrew

• Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali + all major Indian scripts

• Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai

• Russian, Ukrainian, Georgian, Armenian

• Amharic, Tigrinya + 80 more

How it makes money: AdSense. It's a free tool that gets organic traffic from people searching "arabic keyboard online" or "hindi keyboard" etc. Pure SEO play.

Where I'm at:

• ~370 ranking keywords on Google

• Top 5 for "arabic keyboard online"

• 333 indexed pages

• AdSense approved and running

• DR 24 (growing via directory submissions)

Tech: Next.js 15 with static generation. Each keyboard layout is a JSON file. Lightweight, fast, works everywhere.

The big competitors (Lexilogos at 110K monthly visits, Branah at 46K) prove the market exists. I'm betting a modern UX + better SEO can carve out a real share.
