I launched Miniagen, an AI tool that turns video ideas into scroll-stopping thumbnails for YouTube, Shorts and Reels.
Why I built it:
Most creators either:
spend way too much time designing thumbnails, or
publish weak thumbnails and lose potential views.
But thumbnails are one of the biggest levers for CTR.
So I wanted to make something dead simple:
Type an idea → get multiple thumbnail options → pick one → publish faster.
Current stage:
Free to use
Early users testing it
Improving based on feedback
Exploring whether creators would pay for advanced features
I’d love your honest thoughts:
Would you use this for your own content?
What feature would make it 10x more useful?
Would you pay for thumbnail generation if it improved CTR?
Try it here: https://miniagen.co
Solving the "weak thumbnail" problem is a high-leverage entry point for new creators. Most tools focus on the generation part, but the real value is in the CTR prediction/logic.
One thought on Miniagen: since you're exploring whether creators would pay, I'd suggest a "CTR Audit" mode where a user uploads their current thumbnail and the AI compares it against your "scroll-stopping" baseline. That contrast is usually what triggers the "I need this" purchase decision.
If you'd like a substantive conversion teardown of the Miniagen landing page or the generation flow, I do them for $1 here: https://roastmysite.io/go.php?src=external_manual_ih_kokau_miniagen_may19_usd_presell_hv
