I built Rephrazo – an inline AI rewriting helper to avoid the copy-paste loop

I just shipped an early version of Rephrazo, a small writing helper I built out of frustration with my own workflow.

My usual loop was:

• write a rough sentence

• copy it into ChatGPT/Grammarly

• ask for a clearer version

• paste it back and fix formatting

Doing this dozens of times a day felt ridiculous.
What Rephrazo does:

• You highlight text

• Hit a hotkey

• Get an AI paraphrase in a small popup

• Insert it back with one click

No browser tab, no copy–paste, minimal friction.
