Hey fellow Shopify App Developers! 🛠️
I hope you're all doing well and staying productive. I recently watched a podcast by Rob Walling called 'Startups for the rest of us', and I wanted to follow his advice to look for Shopify apps that have high demand but poor reviews.
So, I decided to make a tool for myself to help me find those hidden gem categories that could use some fresh and improved apps. It's at ShopifyKnights.com and it's free!
Features of ShopifyKnights:
Automatic review summarization: The app automatically gathers reviews created in the last year for the app and summarizes it into three points. Positive/Negative reviews and missing features.
Customizable filters: You can fine-tune your search to find apps that have a range of review scores combined with the number of reviews created in the last 1 year(this helps to find active, popular apps that may not be reviewed well.
It's completely free for now, but it's possible I might charge a one-time fee in the future if it is popular.
I would love to hear your feedback and any suggestions for improvements.
Happy developing! 🚀
