I didn't build Ashive because founders need another AI.

For the last few weeks, I've been talking to founders on Indie Hackers, X, and Reddit.

Different products.

Different industries.

Different stages.

But I kept seeing the same pattern.

Someone would say:

"I don't know how to get my first users."
"I don't know if I should build, market, or pivot."
"I have visitors but nobody actually uses the product."
"Everyone gives different advice."

The problem wasn't a lack of information.

Most founders already know the common advice.

Talk to users.

Find your ICP.

Improve positioning.

Ship faster.

The hard part is knowing which advice actually matters for your situation right now.

That's why I started building Ashive.

Not as another chatbot.

Not to replace a founder's thinking.

But to help founders make sense of the signals around them and figure out the next action that actually matters.

Over the last few weeks, I've changed the product more from founder conversations than from writing code.

I'm still early, still learning, and honestly still trying to figure out what the real "aha" moment is.

So I'm curious.

If you're building a startup right now, what's the one decision you're currently stuck on?

I'd love to understand how other founders think through it.
