I finally decided to leverage freelancers

Hello IH,

So i was finally convinced to hire freelancers or part-timers to do the initial heavy lifting on one the SaaS ideas I have been trying to fit in my schedule for the past 2 years.

Being a software engineer myself, I always had this fear of handing out my own projects to other engineers.
Not that I don't trust them, more about wanting the code to be written my way, and feeling dumb paying someone else to do what I do best.

BUT, in order to succeed you have to fail quickly.

And in order to do that, you have to invest not only your time, but also your money in your ideas.

The only logical path for me here is to do the planning, define the requirements and hire other people to do the work, at least until I get the landing page and MVP ready.

Since, I will be maintaining and adding to the code later on, it only makes sense for me to at least review the developer's MRs and provide some guidance if needed.

What about you guys, how do you find leveraging works for you?
