Two months ago, I made a post about not getting enough conversions on my landing page: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/why-is-my-landing-page-not-converting-b139613e66
I got some amazing feedback from you all, made changes addressing the issues, and now I got a lot more conversions!
Here's all the changes I made:
Show, don't tell: Instead of images and text that describe the problem, I added a semi-preview of the product. So that visitors knows exactly what InvoiceMod does.
Tone down the design: I previously went overboard adding fancy gradients and fonts. While that looks cute, it doesn't suit a professional tool that an accountant is looking for.
Simplify pricing: I previously had 3 tiers, neither of them was appealing and the feature set was confusing. Now I have 2 tiers, the Starter tier provides invoice customization, while the Professional tier also provides QuickBooks integration and invoice/email automations.
Add "social proof": This is something I picked up from youform.com. I don't have a working product so I don't have any testimonials, but having real people's comments really does solidify that you are a real company and not some online scam. So I took comments from the r/QuickBooks about people complaining and put them here, writing a big "Solved!" at the top.
