I got tired of updating prices in 175 countries manually, so I built a tool

Hey everyone!

I'm William, mobile engineer for 10+ years. Last year I started my own app studio (Olyndo) — 6 apps on iOS and Android, about 15-20K total users so far.

One thing that keeps driving me crazy is updating prices.

Every time, the same routine — log into App Store Connect, set prices for 175 storefronts, then log into Google Play and do it all over again for 165+ regions.

Two consoles, two tier systems, two sets of country codes. Now multiply that by 6 apps.

Even if you're on one store only, 175 storefronts with different tiers and currencies is painful enough.

And honestly, I know the prices are wrong in most countries. $9.99 everywhere sounds clean, but that's pocket change in the US and a day's wage in parts of India.

You lose conversions in some markets and undercharge in others.

So I built BasePrice (baseprice.io) — a pricing engine that sits between you and the stores.

You set one base price, pick a strategy (exchange rate, PPP, Big Mac Index, GDP, or blend your own), preview what every market would cost, and publish to both stores at once.

I also plugged in RevenueCat so you can see real subscriber data alongside your pricing — how many subs per country, estimated MRR impact — before you push anything live.

And there's drift detection — if someone changes a price manually in the console or Apple runs a price equalization, you get flagged immediately.

Right now it's fully built and I'm using it on my own apps. I just launched a free plan — 1 project, 2 products, full publishing, no credit card required. $0 MRR, just getting started.

I also made some free tools that work without any signup:
→ PPP calculator: baseprice.io/tools/ppp-calculator
→ Apple price points reference: baseprice.io/tools/apple-price-points
→ Revenue estimator: baseprice.io/tools/revenue-estimator

Or just check out the main site: baseprice.io

If you ship apps internationally I'd love to hear how you handle pricing — and any feedback is welcome.

    Hi William,
This is the exact problem I was facing in Google play store. I am solo dev running two apps on Google play store. I checked out your wesbite I think you are doing good job here. I was using snapparity.app for this purpose. They do convert prices to PPP adjusted prices for each country and push. But I think you got many extra features. You got six pricing strategies like like netflix index and big mac index etc. I wanted to know what is differene between these strategies and how can I find which one is best for my apps ?
