I kept building tools but couldn’t figure out where to launch them—so I built a platform for it (LaunchXact)

Over the last few months, I’ve been deep in the process of learning to build software.

I started with Python, built small scripts, then moved into actual tools and small SaaS-style projects. Like many solo builders, I spent most of my time thinking about features, performance, and how to make the product useful.

But something unexpected happened once the tools were ready.

I didn’t know where to launch them.

There are great platforms out there, but each one came with a different friction:

Some gave only one day of visibility.

Some required a big audience to even matter.

Some were focused on heavy discounts.

Some were just payment tools with no discovery.

I kept running into the same question:

Where does a small, early-stage product go to get its first real users?

Not a big launch.
Not a viral spike.
Just real, steady discovery.

So I started building something small and focused.

A curated platform where indie founders can:

List their tools

Stay discoverable over time

Reach early adopters without complex launches

That’s how LaunchXact came into existence.

Right now, it’s still early.
I’ve just opened the founder waitlist and I’m curating the first launch collection.
