Reddit is growing rapidly because Google started giving Reddit posts on the result page instead of blog articles.
I know only one subreddit that allows you to launch and discuss your own projects there - r/SideProject. I believe there is a space for more.
So I created a new subreddit — for us, indie makers. It is intended to discuss all things about making SaaS/apps/startups in a bootstrapped way.

Reddit is the new cool place for idea generation.
Sometimes reddit could be really toxic if you're just starting, however I'll give you a try at yours. Seems very friendly, thanks for creating it!

Yes, you're somehow right, that Google is not promoting Reddit and other forums and compared to other websites.
Google DOES prefer Reddit/Quora over blogs now 🙂
Lets just say at fabform.io we hate reddit. Everything to them is spam. Its nuts
