I’m a software engineer who’s terrible at design, so I built a tool to do it for me.

Hey Indie Hackers,

I’ve spent most of my career deep in backend infrastructure and software engineering, but recently I ran into a frustrating wall: Content creation.

I knew that LinkedIn and Instagram carousels were performing incredibly well for reach, but every time I tried to make one, I’d spend 3 hours in Canva or Figma only to end up with something that looked... average at best.

I realized that most "design" tasks for carousels are actually just logical rules (padding, font hierarchy, color contrast). Since I’m a dev, I decided to automate those rules.

I built AI Carousel Creator to bridge that gap. You give it a topic or a URL, and it handles the design logic, layouts, and copy generation in seconds.
