I made a YouTube chapter generator - How can I promote it?

Thanks for the suggestion, Shiv. Do you find it hard to make your comments surface in a high-traffic video? I did this before and found out it's quite hard for comments to rank high enough to be seen.

Regarding subreddits, I can suggest general ones for promoting your side projects. Probably there are some people who are doing YT videos as well. Not sure about YT oriented subreddits

@PassionDev Great idea, I'd like to see the success of this. I've tested it with one of my videos and here's my feedback

• It generated 75 lines (chapters). That's too much. Try to narrow it down to 5-10.
• You need to work on some weighing, because not everything deserves to be a chapter.
• As you already have a basis for the chapter generation, think about offering edit mode to creators. So that you suggest things, but creators can strike it out or edit a little bit
• So, instead of "AI-like chapter generator", to think about a platform that will help creator reduce time when creating their chapters. This is the reason I stopped doing it. It takes too much time to do it from scratch.

I would suggest you to talk with YT content creators and see their pains in creating chapter descriptions. Approach ppl who you follow and ask them about their experience

a) if they put it, what's the main pain they have
b) if they don't have it, ask them what's stopping them from having it

When you get enough pain points, implement the solution for most recurring one and then you have something to offer, something to promote.

I will probably true HN tomorrow. As for reddit, I don't know where I should post as most subreddits have very strict rules of posting such things. I only posted on one subreddit so far.
