I made Substack for snail-mail.

I tested this idea for a year before I launched.

Now, less than one year in, I have 100+ writers using StampFans to share their writing with their audience in a physical, tactile way.

How did I get these writers? It wasn't easy. I hit LinkedIn hard and built a personal brand there tied to the StampFans brand. This meant sacrificing other things, like my startup advice, in order to reach prospective writers and creators. But along the way, I learned that's its ok to pivot your brand for a time. In fact, there's probably not another way to successfully launch a brand on social media.

Anyways, I'd love your thoughts. The platform is simple – just like Substack, but for snail-mail. Writers can send up to one letter per month to all their subscribers (the same letter to all subscribers). People are using this to share exclusive snail-mail only recipes, personal reflections, spiritual encouragement, and everything in-between.

What do you think?
