Hello,
This is probably my third post about my product here: https://www.plummapp.com Because it did not get traction I anticipated I decided to pivot my product.
Initially, Plumm was launched at the beginning of 2020 as a customer support inbox for any kind of business, where you can embed our live chat widget on your website or you can connect your email accounts to Plumm inbox so that you have all of your email inboxes in single shared place.
Now, I pivoted Plumm to focus solely on needs of SaaS owners. I decided to do that, because I noticed Plumm is currently solving my own problem (because I built and run few SaaS products), but it can do that in a more valuable way, so that this can be a distinguishing feature of Plumm, comparing to many other products which are trying to solve "customer support" genericaly.
What do you think? Is it good direction? What would you add or remove from the current product to make it even more valuable for SaaS owners?
And finally, would you use it yourself?
Looks interesing, but is this feature not already availabe in other chat platforms?
Nevertheless I think, that your target can be wider than saas owners.
Think about e-commerce as your target. Shop owners often has more than one web shops with different products.
In my old company we had some customers with this kind of problems and we provided similar solutions to them.
It was very helpful for them especially with context provided.
I also did some inspection on your website. I't looks that your widget is not using iframe - think about it if you want to avoid many tech problem in future.
Please also check my tools, it can be helpfull for you: https://chatscope.io
I would be glad if we can exchange some technical experiences in this area
Just checked your Twitter profile. I see that you are programming in Scala, so welcome to the club and... I'm also from Poland:) the more i think we can exchange a lot of experiences related to chat technologies.
Hi (lub cześć!),
Yeah, I think this feature may be already available in other platforms, I am not saying this is not true. But I believe that combination of features makes Plumm an interesting project for SaaS founders.
Yes, of course, target audience may be large, but for now I want to focus on single group, in this case I am focusing on SaaS founders because I am one and I have created tool for myself.
I get it. Good luck with your project. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss or share some experience about chat tech.
