I started taking demos 24/7 for my SaaS

One small change that we did in the marketing strategy of my B2B SaaS last month was:
I opened my calendar to for bookings 24*7 📅
And yes, I was taking all these demos. 👨💻
So people from around the Globe could book demos at their convenience.
And the results? By far the best month for my SaaS (mails.wtf)

I made demos accessible for my target audience and they did not even realize that a guy in India 🇮🇳 was giving demos around the clock.
All they saw was the ease of booking demos for themselves and their team.

I applaud your effort. I did this with my SaaS a couple of years ago. It worked great. But it nearly killed me!!
Turns out waking up at all odd hours and preparing for demos in the middle of the night (that often turned up to be 'no shows') etc. really took a toll on my mental and physical health. Especially when I was trying to cram other development work and admin tasks in between.
Now I set my demo availability times to a very narrow window during normal working hours, BUT, I have team members spread all over the world now who can do demos - and they actually do more demos that I do by a factor of 5 to 1 now. Much saner, and with just as good an outcome.
In short - it is good to try this every now and then, but don't make it your usual strategy. Good quality sleep is vitally important for startup founders.
How did you hire these remote team members who can do demos? Are they commission based or hourly? and do they just do demos or other roles too?
Actually, via Facebook groups for HR people (ours is an HR SaaS). They are part of the 'customer success' team, so they do demos, as well as onboarding new users and providing level 1 support. Also updating our knowledgebase and training videos. All hourly contractors at this stage.
