i stopped editing my spreadsheets

i have a budgeting spreadsheet, a spreadsheet for new people i meet, one for my workout progress. i hate opening and editing them, especially on my phone.

i just built textka.com and have completely stopped manually editing spreadsheets. ka has access to them and i just tell him to update things and it does it in an instant. it's so convenient b/c i can just text it.

The bigger opportunity here may be bigger than replacing spreadsheet edits.
If Ka already has access to Gmail, location and personal files, the real value could be turning scattered personal data into actionable context, not just taking commands.
Instead of only “update my spreadsheet,” it could proactively connect information, surface what matters, and suggest the next action.
That shift could make Ka feel less like an AI-powered spreadsheet assistant and more like a true personal operating layer.
Curious whether that proactive direction is part of the roadmap?

The “I stopped editing spreadsheets” outcome is the interesting signal. Curious whether people adopt ka mainly for convenience, or whether they start using it for workflows they previously avoided altogether.
