Hi Indie Hackers,
While building ARJAST Platform, powered by Nexus Omniverse Swarm (NOS), one product mistake became very clear to me:
a lot of market tools flatten very different situations into the exact same output.
Something moves? Alert.
Something changes? Alert.
Something looks interesting? Alert.
But in real markets, not every signal deserves escalation.
That pushed me toward a different design choice inside ARJAST Platform. Instead of treating everything important as one generic “alert,” I started thinking in layers.
For example:
observation
monitoring
interpretation
escalation
action-facing state
At first glance, that sounds like a small shift. But product-wise, it changes a lot.
Because the system is no longer just asking, “Did something happen?”
It’s also asking, “What level does this actually belong to?”
That distinction matters. It helps reduce false urgency and keeps the system from promoting every interesting move too early.
A lot of products are good at surfacing change. Far fewer are good at judging when that change becomes meaningful enough to escalate.
For me, that’s turned into one of the most important design questions behind ARJAST Platform.
Have any of you run into something similar in your own product—where the real challenge wasn’t detection, but deciding what shouldn’t be pushed forward too early?
