I’ve seen too many monitors returned because of pixel issues that weren’t actually defects

Over the years, I noticed a pattern: people often return perfectly fine monitors because they mistake stuck pixels, uniformity issues, or brightness settings for real panel defects.

In many cases, the monitor was tested in the wrong conditions (too bright room, wrong patterns, wrong expectations).

To make this easier, I put together a very small browser-based checker for pixel tests and uniformity — nothing fancy, just the basics people actually need before starting an RMA.

It helped me personally avoid unnecessary returns, so I figured it might be useful for others here too.
