I always seem to have ideas come to my head except when I need them most.
Anyone have any tips on idea generation? I'm looking to build a SaaS product, but need an idea.
If there is anyone out there looking for a co-founder, I'm interested in that as well!
Just a tip, try to do new things, that will open your mind and you will be able to find new problems that need to be solved. At least that worked for me, I have to thanks @levelsio for this tip.
New things = New problems
Good luck!!
Great tip, thanks :)
I'm new on here, but what I like to do is buy the cheapest notebooks (I always seem to hold out on filling expensive books.. , I am more likely to just throw an idea down in a cheap book).
Then I just set one restriction, which is one area of focus per page. So maybe I write Construction, Delivery, Audit or Bug/Error Logging at the top of the page.. then just dump ideas down related to that topic..
I do this freeform, but try to always think about issue or problems I have experienced firsthand, then ones I have heard of through friends, then ones I imagine must be hard to solve.
Finally, research the ones that are interesting to me.
Love this style! Thank you :)
I keep a running list when an idea pops in my head. Once I get the broad idea down, I spend time sussing it out. Sometimes I realize I’ve basically just invented Google and move on to the next one :)
Yes, I do this on occasion, need to get in better habit of doing it.
