I started building this because I needed it myself.
When I tried to launch my first product I had no idea where to start.
Do I register a company first? How do I get my first users? What do I even charge? I spent weeks Googling things that should have lived in one place.
So I'm building that place.
A step by step platform that takes first time UK founders from company registration to first revenue; legal setup, marketing tools, community, all in one guided journey.
I'm pre-launch right now, doing research and talking to as many founders as possible before I write another line of code.
If you've started a business before what was the one thing nobody warned you about? I'll read every reply.
"Love the focus on the UK market, Istiaq. Most 'all-in-one' tools stay too broad, but a guided journey specifically for the legal and revenue hurdles here is a massive pain killer for first-timers.
One thing nobody warns you about is 'admin fatigue'—it's easy to lose momentum when you're stuck in spreadsheets and registration forms instead of building. This project would actually be a perfect entry for the current competition. Entry is $19 and the winner gets a trip to Tokyo.
Prize pool just opened at $0. Your odds are the best right now. Definitely worth a look while you're still in the pre-launch phase!"
the thing nobody warned me about: distribution is 10x harder than building. we built 21 digital products, a working API with 4 endpoints, and a full automated trading engine. spent months on it. the result? $0 revenue. not because the products are bad — they actually work. but because we spent all our energy building and zero energy making sure anyone knew we existed. if i could restart, id spend the first month doing nothing but talking to potential customers. find 10 people who have the exact problem you solve, help them for free, and THEN build the thing. the code is the easy part. getting someone to care is the real challenge. good luck with the build though — the fact that youre doing research first puts you ahead of most.
