I'm Building an Audio Platform

Hello, fellow indie community,

I wanted to share an MVP that I'm building. The project is called RealTalk.
First, let me explain what RealTalk is. RealTalk is a platform for short-form audio. I'll probably start with a maximum of a one-minute audio upload and then possibly increase it to two to five minutes later. The posts allow images and maybe GIFs with the audio. And each post will allow commenting and liking. I want to try enabling the user to comment with audio, but that's not a concern for now. Also, users will be able to gain followers and follow others I do plan on building a chat system eventually.

Why?

Well, I like to talk, especially about interesting topics like psychology and engineering. I like conversations in a group setting where I can see people's body language and observe them speak. Text doesn't fulfill that for me, and videos can be a bit stressful to engage with. Podcasting is not much better because it's long-form audio, usually thirty minutes and up. It's a lot to say; most of the time I want to talk about something for a few minutes and be done. There aren't many options available for people who don't enjoy typing or looking at a camera. So I thought I'd create my platform.

To make this a bit easier to grasp, it's essentially Twitter in audio format.
