I'm glad to present you my first SaaS app: Taskomoro

Hello everyone,
just wanted to share with you my joy of finishing (or starting ? 🤔) my first indie dev project (one that actually goes into production :D).

So I introduce you: Taskomoro, a tool for individuals who value their time.

As a productivity nerd, I never found a tool that allowed me to simply organize my tasks, track the time I spend on it, and more importantly, see how I actually spend it.

So, I decided to build Taskomoro, a simple app to visualize how I spend my time on my tasks.

And now, i'm very glad to present it to you.
Here is the link: https://www.taskomoro.com/

PS: I also want to thank everybody on this website for inspiration, motivation and advice! One of the rare few newsletter I actually read ;D

    Hey mate.

    Well done for building something!

Just checked out the website. There wasn’t any screenshot of the actual product so I didn’t want to sign up. If you’ve really built it, use that to your advantage! There are way too many landing pages with “sign up!” and no product behind the sign up button. “We’ll tell you when we launch!”

    Keep going! đź’Ş

        Hey mate. Visually looks great!

Just to double down on the point:
The first stylised image, right at the top, the first thing I look at, above the fold, makes me think that there's no product. The cartoon dude looks visually great, however when I scroll down there's another colourful dude there too, covering up what I also think is a graphic (not the product).

Because of the context of this thread, I thought "Wait, he's got to have included a screenshot somewhere on this page!". Then scrolled up and down to find it.

The screenshot with the bar graphs and pie charts looks like a real product. The others don't, because they have those grey placeholder things, cartoon characters, etc.

I think with a software product, especially one they can sign up for in 30 seconds, you don't want to hide it from them. Just show them exactly what it is as clearly as possible and let them judge for themselves: if it looks good to them, they'll sign up, and then they'll discover what you think about it / have to say about it, later.

        Keep going mate!

      Hi Andrew!
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated! There is actually a product behind it ^^ but i get your point.
I'm preparing marketing content with screenshot/videos on how to use the app, and as soon as it is ready, I'll add them in the landing page.

      Again, thanks for you reply.
