Hey,
I've asked this question on Twitter too because apparently, I think crowdsourcing bad ideas to spend my weekend on is a good idea.
Maybe I'm being a bit too harsh. I'm sure you have good ideas, but the odds of you giving them to me is small.
ANYWAY, what I wanted to say was that I'm itching to build something but I'm completely out of ideas. So somebody please give me something to build and I will launch it on Product Hunt on Monday.
Cheers
Okay Ryan Hoover just liked my tweet guys it's getting real
Hahaha okay scratch my previous comment. Build a Product Hunt alternative. I'm sure it's gonna be better. ;)
And as you promised, launch it on Product Hunt. DO IT.
Done
and done
noice
I'm desperate to build something with GPT-3. Just need access! So many possibilities
Hey there Hessel,
It's courageous and compassionate for you to try to take on a challenge so daunting...right-on.
My project is a Music/Mindfulness, Guided Breathing, Stress-Relief idea for a mobile or desktop App. It's based on my abstract minimalism artwork (https://www.instagram.com/life_lines_art/), which is completely proprietary.
Breathe along to the animated images, select music from an elaborate international music database...to bring oxygenation and wellness, and enhanced creativity and productivity.
Perfect timing in these Covid times.
It's outside many peoples comfort zone, which is one of the reasons that there is so much potential on the otherside.
I have a neuroscientist with great experience from Stanford University on board, and am building a team (tech, mktg, etc.) to present and sell it to an existing Meditation App Co. (Calm, Headspace, etc.)...or to produce it myself.
My current landing page is still being worked on and I can share it with you if you'd like... but here are a couple video prototypes in the meantime.

I'd love to chat regardless wether you can envision working on it or not.
Best regards,

Hey @hessel! I've been collecting ideas in this Twitter thread over the years. Feel free to see if any of the ideas spark motivation to build something -- https://twitter.com/michaelsoolee/status/1002262281156210688?s=20
Great. scratching your own itch is perfectly fine when you're not trying to start a profitable business. Thing is you have a meta-itch - the itch to itch. It's a bitch, right?
I'd take a wild guess and say you want to LEARN something, not build. I'd go that way, but that is just my own humble opinion.
The itch to itch is indeed a bitch - and also sounds a bit like Dr. Seuss 😄 Also, no not really - learning something is great don't get me wrong, at the moment I just want a project to spend my weekend on.
I kinda feel like I'm trying to break writer's block here - I just need something to get the ball rolling again.
I'm doing some 3D in Blender at the moment, you're welcome to brainstorm anything 3D.
