I'm not stopping.

If there's one thing I've learnt in my 46 years, is that persistence is key.

The longer you push (and keep learning) the better you will do, and hopefully (eventually) succeed in some way. You just might not always succeed in the way you thought.

I'm basically undiagnosed ADHD and most likely ASD (currently getting diagnosed, but I live in the UK so it takes years). Not pulling a sympathy card or anything, I'm fine with it, it just explains a lot. A textbook case - lots of ideas, trying loads of things, not quite seeing it through, but all the while cultivating loads of different skills that have mounted up into quite a set.

Coding was one of those things that I never fully committed to in the past, but really should have done (not for the want of trying, just life), as the logic and mindset to build software is a satisfying methodology that fits into a lot of my slots.

AI coding tools have matured, and like a lot of people, I've jumped on the bandwagon. Most will fail (maybe I will be one of them), a few will succeed (hopefully me). The true programmers out there obviously look down on us and I get it, I really do.

But I'm not stopping.

Lots of competition? I'm not stopping. Derision by the old skool? I'm not stopping. Doubters? Guess what?

I'm not stopping.

Over the past six months I've found my thing. It's like I'm bringing all the skills I've developed but not quite mastered, and melded them into something new, in a way that simply wasn't possible for me a year ago.

Cursor and Claude Code are tools and I'm an orchestrator. Big picture, strategy and vision I've got in spades (I like to think, as that mental engine just never turns off) and this tech is allowing me to execute in a way that is hugely satisfying, and actually build things I simply never would/could have done otherwise.

I'm not blindly stumbling around, it's super exciting. I've got a scheduled build order, which is designed in a way to increase in complexity and further develop my own skills to deliver the big boys.

I really believe my apps will bring a lot of satisfaction to those who use them (partly because I'm also building the apps that I want myself and know there are a lot of others out there like me). These first two I've just built and mentioned in my other posts are just starters. I know they're not going to change the world, but they have set me on a path.

Now I feel ready, I'm going into production on one that I've been looking forward to, and know that there's a lot of you out there who will get a lot of satisfaction from. No spoilers obviously, you'll have to wait and see. Again, not a world changer, but definitely a nice innovation, to fully realise something that I don't think is fully delivered elsewhere.

But even though it's early days for Sky-Hi Digital and it feels like I'm shouting into a void right now - you guessed it, I'm not stopping!
