I’ve started an Instagram page where I turn backend and AI system failures into short visual “incident files.”
Instead of posting generic AI news, each Reel reconstructs one technical failure mode in about 15 seconds. So far, I’ve covered race conditions and cache stampedes.
I’m still early, so there are no meaningful growth numbers to share yet. The goal is to test whether this format can build a relevant technical audience while I document the systems and products I’m working on.
Next, I’m planning to cover agent workflows, reliability failures, and real engineering decisions from my projects.
Has anyone here grown a technical audience on Instagram? What worked better for you: recurring series, posting volume, or build-in-public content?

The $12 matters less to me than what happened around it.
Was that customer already looking for something like Brand Narratives AI, or did you have to convince them the problem was worth paying to solve?
I think this may have been meant for a different post. This one is about testing short-form engineering content, not Brand Narratives AI or a $12 customer.
You're right — that was meant for a different post. My mistake, and thanks for catching it.
