I'm writing my first e-book. Any tips?

More than ten years ago, I started my career as a software engineer. I worked in small companies. I worked in big companies. I traveled the world and met thousands of developers. Throughout these years, I heard the same questions:

• How do I keep up with all the new technologies?
• Should I focus on being a specialist or generalist?
• How can I stay productive and not feel overwhelmed?

Those questions are not easy to answer. I know that because I struggled with them as well. It took me a lot of reading to truly understand the underlying dilemmas that we all have to deal with.

Now I decided to put all these lessons in one book, which is going to be called:

14 Habits of Highly Productive Developers (https://14habits.com)

I started to write a couple of parts already, but there's still a lot to be written. That's why I wanted to ask the community two questions:

1. If you're a developer, what are the kind of things you see people struggling in a software career?
2. If you wrote an e-book already, what are the tips you can share and lessons you learned?
