I know the frustration when you put so much effort into making the sale through your website, yet many leads vanish, never to be seen again.
Just for everyone's knowledge, a lead is someone that has shown keen interest in your SaaS product.
To calculate your lead conversion rate, you divide your total number of conversions by your total number of leads and then multiply by 100.
Lead Conversion rate (%) = (total conversions / total leads) * 100
Generally, anywhere between 3%-5% is a solid conversion rate in SaaS business.
Now, as a marketing professional, how I learned to increase SaaS lead conversions:
Remember, if you target different types of customers, you should create more personalized videos that are relevant to the segment. In general, people just prefer watching videos over reading. And you can’t blame them.
Use One Strong Call to Action (CTA)
Rather than using 3-5 links use one button/hyperlink on your pricing page, emails, or wherever else you want your audience to take the desired action. Neither confuse your leads nor show yourself too desperate.
Keep your website responsive to smartphones
If you are an early-stage entrepreneur, make sure to work on ease of use. Avoid involving any sort of friction that makes it more difficult for buyers to make a purchase.
Make comparisons to your (closest if new) competitors
With so many purchasing options for consumers to choose from these days, why should they buy your SaaS product? People want to know why you’re the right choice and not someone else. What makes your product different?
So it’s up to you to show them. Think about the usability of your product versus the competitors. Showcase the difference in an easy-to-understand layout, such as a table.
I hope these insights help anyone who purchased the domain long back but now utilizing it to make a business. Have a question? Feel free to drop in the comments and will be happy to answer within my limits.
