Stacker provides self-hosted Git repositories. If you need to formalise your source code management process beyond native Git, feel free to adopt Git Flow Next or your own standard. There is no integration with external GitLab, GitHub or BitBucket repositories, but there are no provider costs from them either.

Without requiring the capability maturity for continuous anything, Stacker provides the capability to trigger builds from source code management events. Not the type of build which produces a .zip and a README file, but the type that makes your product components available to your test and live environments from your own self-hosted software repositories.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, of course, but these technical design choices create a simplicity which makes reasonable operating cost projections possible.
