Indie Hacker: Unlocking Product Communication & Target Discovery!

I wanted to share with you my experience with IH which has been very good since I signed up last month. This community is great and the content is rich and complete for anyone trying to figure out what to do to develop an Indie or side project for my specific use case.

Indeed, I've had a lot of constructive feedback and advice on my new product, which is a free, no-code 3D interactive Portfolio Builder.

I've tried different approaches with posts:

  • Offer to design free landing page using FuryPage
  • Asking for help and advice on the best target
And the second post worked way better! It's weird to see that in the end it's better to ask for help than to offer free services on IndieHacker. But I think that's what this community is all about. Sharing experience and helping each other improve every day, step by step.

Often, the best way to interact and gather feedback isn't always to post your own article, but simply to respond to others who invite you to share what you're working on or what your current difficulties are.
For example, I received several positive comments about FuryPage's tools in the article "Can you describe your product in one sentence?".

Next:
Continue to try to give back whenever I can or see a post where I think my expertise/experience could be useful to others.
I also recently learned about this "barter" group where people exchange skills, and I think it's another great way to contribute to the community.

To celebrate, I thought, 'Why not give this ProductHunt thing a whirl?' Your support would be like a big, virtual bear hug (but less fuzzy)! 😉
