Logology helps startups get a brand identity from a designer in minutes instead of weeks, with no upfront cost. We found a way to automate the tedious parts of brand design, so that designer quality work becomes affordable to side projects and startups.

Violet.io consolidates all of the ecom platform API's (think Shopify, BigCommerce, etc) into a single headless API that developers use to consume product data and send back order data. When a developer facilitates a transaction, the merchant pays the developer a commission fee.

Without Violet a developer must integrate with every ecom platform individually which can require years of engineering work.

The biggest channel using our API today is Instagram who uses it to power Instagram checkout where shoppers can make purchases without ever leaving Instagram.

I'm helping fellow Indie Hackers save time and/or money when building out their new SaaS apps!

Nodewood is a JavaScript SaaS web app starter kit. When you're coding your own SaaS app, you have to build out user authentication/management, subscriptions, application boilerplate, etc. If you're building that yourself, it can take weeks or months to get right, and even then, the temptation to skimp out on features that will make your customers lives easy but aren't mission-critical is going to be pretty high. If you're paying someone to build this all, it can cost a lot of money, and nearly none of that is going into building the features that set your app apart from others.

I'm actively developing Nodewood, so it's always getting better, which means any Nodewood-based app is also always getting better, with new features and refinements getting added automatically. For example, I recently figured out how to speed up Docker on MacOS by 100% or more and have set up configuration information for Nodewood customers to get that speedup as easily as possible.

I've always kind of considered building out the boilerplate to any app as tedious, since it's not the neat idea I actually want to be working on. Helping indie hackers also skip that tedious part is pretty neat, and I'm enjoying working on the specific part that used to be a distraction from the "real work."

At Ginevar we are helping freelancers to get new clients by scraping the web to find them, pinging you on real time when new jobs appear, and allowing you to quick apply in 1 single click. Think Linkedin Jobs for the freelance economy.

This came from a personal issue of mine when searching for freelance gigs, since it's quite different than fulltime job seeking (a lot more fast paced, where being the first is important)
