International incentive programs for startups
Theoretically, if you were the CEO of a tech-based company, and it could be headquartered anywhere-- where would you go? What countries offer the most perks to set up your company there?

This is just a fantasy right now, but in a few months.. who knows! Just want to know what's out there. I'm an American but this country is a big fat dumpster fire and I don't see it changing any time soon. Ireland is looking pretty good right now.
I just visited Chiang Mai, Thailand. If you're doing a light-weight bootstrapping business, I'd suggest to go there. Super low-cost living + coworking space
If you're looking for government support - Check out Vancouver, BC Canada (my home base)! When I was attending college, a startup was able to hire me as their only product designer because they got a fund from Canadian government to hire me. There're tons of program (many of them are foreigner friendly from what I've heard!) so make sure you check it out.
My other home base is Shenzhen, China where many people know as the next Silicon Valley. Tencent, DJI, Xiaomi, Huawei and tons of other Chinese tech companies started here. However you do need to know and/or have connections to make sure you can navigate around the local community since it's vastly different from the west.
Ha, I hear you. Moved to Mexico 6 months ago and I don't regret it one bit.
Maybe not at the moment, but I heard that Chile was a great place to start up a company. They have a really good accelerator (Startup Chile, I think?) that seemed to be pretty influential on the startups' successes. But given the recent political chaos I'm unsure if that's still the case.
Mostly out of bias, I'd headquarter my company in Mexico, specifically Guadalajara. The tech talent there is actually insane, and some of the smartest programmers I know are from Guadalajara (as opposed to San Francisco).
