Hi there!
I'm a marketer for a cloud-based SaaS for remote access getscreen.me Until recently, we hardly ever sent emails to our customers (only automated emails). But for Black Friday, we did a mass mailing and got perfect results with a 50% open rate and dozens of subscription purchases.
We plan to continue this work, and now I'm building a strategy of situational email marketing to be useful to clients, not just to sell. Share your experiences, do you do regular newsletters or think that Email marketing is dead?
I have done regular newsletters, email marketing, cold emails. I have been writing to 20K subscribers at Micro SaaS Ideas
You will have unsubscribes in any email campaign and it's normal.
Just like any other skill, emails is also a skill.
I can certainly say that Email marketing isn't dead.

Can you briefly describe your success story of newsletter issue?
As long as GPDR is applied for each client then entirely possible to yield results.
In my opinion, it's like any other avenue of sales, usually a 1/100 return.
I'd also say (from my experience) It's a long game; an ad takes 7-8 times before someone even makes the purchasing decision. As long as they're (the clients) are aware of this.
Everything's awareness at the end of the day. :)
