Is it really the most uncertain stage in maker’s journey?

Hey guys! New maker here! Technically I launched my first project this week and faced the moment of uncertainty I’d like to talk about & ask if you have the same feeling.

So, my maker’s journey started in a pretty common way: I was listening to podcasts, reading twitter and found guys like Peter Levels, Andrey Azimov and many more who build lots of different small/medium projects. Naturally, I was excited about it.

As a non-developer, I wanted to do something cool & quick -> that’s how I stumbled upon the RaaS niche (the one I posted in other topic about, link in the bottom). In short, it’s an area of list-based products. I decided to check which products exist out there and made my own list of them. That is my first product.

Making a landing page with Carrd, putting everything together into the Airtable spreadsheet, doing design & copywriting - all of this stuff is exciting. It feels like a journey. Looks like you assemble all the parts together, what naturally brings lots of fun.

The product that I currently work at is not a SaaS / software-based solution. It means that there is no point when it becomes 100% ready - and you can push it. No, it’s a database which I constantly update, find/remove something, etc. So it’s hard to say ‘now I’m done with it’.

That’s why while still working on the product, I decided to ask a few people for a feedback about it. I contacted the same makers from my list, who managed to make their own RaaS product and were 1-3-5 steps ahead of me. Not everyone responded, but most of the replies that I got were pretty cool. Overall I got ~15 replies with 2-3 advices each on average. Based on them, I adjusted the landing page, messaging, database structure, file sharing, etc.

While doing it, I started having this ‘uncertain feeling’, the one that I mentioned in the name here: what should I do next?

• I was planning to build a project and for sure I have one
• I had a plan to start marketing it, but it still feels ‘not ready’ for a loud launch.
• Also there is this fear to start a PH campaign and fail it with 3 upvotes from me, my wife and my cat
• I’m also working on the materials for 2 of my next RaaS projects, which are also those ‘next shiny ideas’ that I plan to launch.
• Although I’m pretty sure that I shouldn’t abandon this one, because I feel like I did something more or less big (for me), and just didn’t tell (almost) anyone about it! that's stupid!

My question is: did you have this same feeling with your first project? How did you solve it?
And what type of advice can you give in this direction?

p.s.
For me the current state is 'the most uncertain', because I work as PM at a big startup, where we already have lots of customers, we ask them all the time what they like/don't like and imrpve the product. But it feels like a 10th step.
And in my case, I know how to do the 1st step, maybe the 2nd. But not the 3rd one and further. That's interesting, what's the best way to fill this 'gap'.
