I am trying a sharper angle for the Inbox AI Employee Kit:
missed follow-ups are not always a sales problem.
Sometimes they are an inbox problem.
A customer asks for a quote.
You send it.
They do not reply immediately.
Then the day fills up and nobody nudges the thread while it is still warm.
That is not dramatic enough to feel urgent in the moment, but it is exactly the kind of thing a small business owner feels later.
The workflow I am testing is simple:
show the customer threads that need a nudge, draft the follow-up, and wait for owner approval.
No autonomous selling.
No fake urgency.
Just customer follow-ups kept visible.
Which wording would make more sense to a small-business buyer?
Current kit:
I’d frame it less as an inbox problem and more as a visibility problem.
The inbox is where the conversation happens, but the follow-up usually needs context: what was promised, what the customer asked for, who owns the next step, and when it should happen.
A simple reminder is useful, but a reminder with context is much more useful.
