Is our startup name sounds good?

I would like to get thoughts of english speakers. Is postallion sounds good for photo sharing app? :)

A "Stallion" is a male horse, not castrated. Usually used for commercial breeding purposes (big stud fees ranging from $7.5K to $50K... paid to stallion owner, for their stallion horse to successfully impregnate the other horse).

I thought Postallion was a "tinder for horses", a directory listing for these stallions and their stud fees, and your site arranges the meetup, and earns a commission being the stud-finder.

Hmm.... that's a business idea. :)

Personally, I think it sounds a little long (too many syllables) to be catchy. I do like how it sounds though, does make me think of horses..

Hope I'm not being intrusive, but I have a service where for $12 you can ask 100 people what they think of when they hear "Postallion", and then follow-up based on how they answered :) That may help more than a few opinions here and there. Just my 2c though.

my mind went right to horses too. the word "stallion" visually jumped out at me.

What's the intended pronunciation? is the emphasis on the second syllable, like "po-STA-llion"? in that case the word "stallion" would stand out when you say it out loud too.

Without knowing where the name originated from, it might look to native english speakers as if you tried to use the word "stallion" on purpose? Not sure. Maybe I'm overthinking this :-)

It’s bit hard to pronounce and not stays in memory. So try optioning for something catchy and simple.
