Is Setting Up A VPS Worth It?

The decision of whether setting up a VPS (Virtual Private Server) is worth it depends on your specific needs and circumstances. Here are some factors to consider:
In summary, if you have a website or application that requires more resources and control than shared hosting can provide, and you have the technical skills to manage a VPS, then it can be a worthwhile investment. However, if your website or application doesn't require those extra resources and control, or you don't have the technical expertise to manage a VPS, then it may not be worth the extra cost and effort.
Unless you are highly knowledgable in private servers I'd go with one of the big three (AWS, GCP, Azure).
For me the risks outweigh the benefits when it comes to performance and security.
