Is there something wrong with my pricing page?

CritiMon seems to be getting a fair amount of views from various sources, but the exit always seems to be around the pricing https://critimon.com/index.php#pricing.

Is there anything that might be putting people off or anything I can do improve conversions?

I would try to use other words for the CTA: e.g. not "Sign Up" but instead "Start reporting" or "Get Reports", "Start getting Crash Reports"... these are just ideas... you probably get some results out of it.

I like this suggestion as well

That's a good idea, have to think of something else, needs to be quite short to fit in the button ideally not wrapping.

A good service that is very valuable (we use 2 similar services in our own SaaS), but I think with the competition out there, you really need to work on the design of your site to entice people these days.

You are up against sites like https://apex.sh/ping/ who have really clean, fresh design which makes people want to subscribe, IMO.

At the very least, change the colours and font on your landing page. The grey colour, and that particular font makes me thing "80's and dated" and not really modern or up to date.

Hopefully a couple of subtle changes can make the difference. FWIW, I think your pricing is great and competitive with others in the same space, so I don't think people are getting 'sticker shock' and running away, but rather thinking "Is this a long forgotten site?" or "Is my user experience if I sign up going to be quite drab as well?".

Thanks for the feedback. The colours and fonts have been recently changed based on other feedback. It was originally dark red menu but people didn't seem to like that so made it grey with the slight hints of the red for the branding. The font used is one of the Google fonts - originally was just using the default Arial font.

I tried to check it. It says "CritiMon is Shutting Down...For Now!"

Seems like you shut it down. :(

I did unfortunately, I'm working on the same idea just thought about it a little more called Crash Catch (https://crashcatch.com).

If you're interested I did a blog post about shutting down at https://blog.boardiesitsolutions.com/critimon-is-shutting-down-for-now/

and starting the new project at https://blog.boardiesitsolutions.com/getting-started-developing-crash-catch/

I don't know if the problem is with the pricing, that seems clear to me. I agree with others that you could change the wording on the CTA.
My biggest problem I think is that I don't understand what the tool does. Is it a tool like Bugsnag? Maybe you could have separate landing pages for each language/platform, or at least for the ones you think you would get the most traffic from.
Showing screenshots of the tool would be useful for me too. And understanding how is the tool different from the other ones out there.

    1. 1

I've not seen bugsnag before, but yes essentially the same, bit cheaper. I do have a landing page for each language under the product menu > languages, takes you to https://critimon.com/languages/index.php

Make a separate pricing page. Easier to report on and doesn't let the user scroll away.

Clean up your designs a little. Narrow the content area.

Highlight the best or most popular plan.

    What traffic sources are converting?

    1. 1

At the moment there isn't a more popular plan as such. I've only had 2 users sign up an then not go any further. Seems a bit odd to narrow the content area though - its a bootstrap container so I would have thought bootstrap would have used a relevant width?

I did originally have a separate pricing page, but it was recommended to put it on the landing page which seems to be quite a popular thing to do based on other sites I've looked at.

People just go to the pricing page/section to see how much the $ is, out of curiosity, without the faintest intent of actually subscribing.

Just the way how it is. There may be nothing wrong with your pricing section at all and massaging it for eternity may not yield any improvement.

In addition to the other great answers, I'd change the support to: "Priority Email Support".

    Best of lucks.

    1. 1

I'm not 100% sure that makes sense. Support is the same no matter the plan so what's being prioritised. In might be wrong, probably am, but I think saying priority would seem misleading?

        Hi Boardy,

Makes sense in a B2B industry! The tickets from premium customers gets attended first, or in a extended work-hours, or with a better SLA, etc. I'm pretty sure your dedication to take care of your customers is equally high for everyone, but you need to push all the plus that comes with a higher pricing tier.

        Best regards,
        Freddy.

        1. 1

That is a good point actually, didn't think of b2b specifics. I might make the pro one say "priority email support" and other two say "email support"?

          1. 1

Yes, give it a try! Hope it works for you.

I'm not sure, but I am curious to see as well, Website looks fine, and pricing page isn't turning me completely off. Are you at least getting free tier sign ups?

    1. 1

Is there something slightly putting you off - feel free to say :).
I've only had 2 sign ups but neither of them went anywhere, just signed up, but didn't register any of their apps and not touched it again since.

      1. 1

You should 100% reach out to those two. See why they thought they could use but ended up not.

I think maybe check some of these out: https://www.bluleadz.com/blog/12-outstanding-pricing-page-examples

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with your pricing page, if I had to call something out I would say it looks somewhat old fashioned, but again, I really don't know. Maybe it needs more color.

        1. 1

I have done with one. The second signed up not too long ago so planned to email them after a few days in case they do progress instead of jumping straight on them. The one I emailed unfortunately didn't respond back :(

          1. 1

I'd say email the other one now, ask him what you can help him with.

            1. 2

Funny you say that, I just did before I saw your comment as realised its been a couple of days anyway.

              1. 1

                Awesome man, best of luck!

                1. 1

Thanks, unfortunately they've not got to me either so far :(

  9. 1

Not a developer but looks pretty well priced and explained. Are there a lot of competitors?

    1. 1

Thanks :) There are a few. Its pretty tricky to get noticed. I've done some paid Google advertising, product hunt, reddit etc and I've had a grand total of 2 user who did sign up, but that's as far as they went for some reason. But I don't think I appear in a general search.
