Hey IH,
I just launched SEO Ladders, an all-in-one SEO platform built for founders who don't know where to start with SEO.
The problem: most SEO tools are built for agencies. They're expensive, overwhelming, and assume you already know what you're doing. So founders either do nothing or burn out trying to figure it out.
SEO Ladders fixes that. You plug in your domain and it tells you exactly what to do next. What's inside:
- Keyword research filtered by your actual domain strength
- AI content planning and automated article writing
- Auto-publish to your blog
- Competitor gap analysis
- Backlink and referring domain tracking
- 100+ spam-free analyzed directories
- Keyword rank tracking
- AI visibility monitoring (see if ChatGPT or Google AI mention your brand)
- Brand trend tracking
- Technical SEO health checks
Everything you need to get organic traffic from Google and ChatGPT in one place.
I'm looking for 10 founders to use it free for 7 days and give me honest feedback.
Tell me what works, what doesn't, what's missing.
Early testers also lock in 30% off forever.
If you're interested, sign up at seoladders.com or drop a comment and I'll set you up.
Great launch! This is exactly what founders need instead of overcomplicated SEO tools. One question I’ve been thinking about a lot lately: how do you deal with closed traffic inside apps—like content that only ranks inside TikTok/Instagram/YouTube search, not Google? Curious if SEO Ladders is planning to track visibility or keywords there too. Would be super valuable to have app SEO + web SEO + AI SEO all in one place.
love the framing of "what to do next" rather than dumping all the data on you - that's exactly where most SEO tools lose founders. the GEO / ai visibility piece is interesting timing too, that's a real gap right now. one thing i'd be curious about - are you planning any support for app store optimization (ASO) for mobile apps, or is the focus purely on web/blog SEO? feels like a natural extension for founders building mobile products.
sorry for not being able to reply, it was my first time posting on indie hackers did not know people can comment on products, just found it today..
I decided to pivot as well.
Congrats on the launch! The positioning is very clear. Most SEO tools assume you already understand SEO deeply, which makes it hard for founders who just want actionable direction.
I especially like the focus on telling users exactly what to do next instead of overwhelming them with data.
As someone who recently launched a small SaaS, getting organic traffic from Google and AI search is definitely one of the biggest challenges.
How are you currently handling programmatic SEO or landing page generation for long-tail keywords?
Solid post — especially the point about “ most SEO tools are built for agencies. They're expensive, overwhelming, and assume you already know what you're doing”. If you could focus on just one lever for the next 30 days, would it be distribution, onboarding, or retention — and why?
tried it out I like how easy to understand the website and SEO profile of the site, however I feel like it jumps into SEO strategy too soon without more guidance or suggestions to the user, since I was expecting it will teach me or guide me to SEO before suggesting SEO agent
Just checked out your website and it looks great! Congrats!
One feedback that I have is that it seems to include lots of functionalities and features. Not necessarily a bad thing but could make things complicated both in turns of marketing and developments.
Really interesting positioning , especially the “SEO for founders who don’t know where to start” angle.
One thing I’ve noticed lately: when founders search SEO tools, they don’t just Google them. They check Reddit to see what other founders are saying first.
A lot of buying decisions for SEO platforms are influenced by those discussions — especially threads comparing tools or questioning AI visibility.
Curious , are you tracking how SEO Ladders is being discussed on community platforms yet, or mainly focusing on traditional search right now?
Really interesting build — especially filtering keywords based on actual domain strength. How are you calculating domain strength internally — third-party metrics or your own model? Also curious how your AI visibility tracking works for ChatGPT/Google AI mentions.
I think this is great as it actually solves beginner problems. if this keep founders motivated to continue doing the seo then it will be good.
This is a solid direction. One thing I’ve seen with founders (including myself) is the biggest blocker isn’t tools — it’s knowing the first action to take.
If SEO Ladders can consistently answer “what should I do this week?” and help ship it fast, that’s the real value.
One suggestion: show small weekly wins (like “this page gained +X impressions”) — it keeps founders motivated to continue.
the AI visibility monitoring is the feature that stands out here. been thinking about this a lot for my own projects - traditional SEO is becoming table stakes but showing up in chatgpt/perplexity responses is a completely different game with different rules.
one thing id push on: the auto-publish feature is where the real stickiness will come from. if founders can go from keyword research to published blog post without leaving the tool, thats a workflow lock-in that makes switching costs high. the tools that win in this space wont be the ones with the best data - theyll be the ones that reduce the number of steps between insight and action.
also worth considering: most solo founders dont need to track 1000 keywords. they need to know which 5-10 keywords they can actually win with their current domain authority. if you can nail that prioritization, youll beat ahrefs for this audience every time.
Interesting positioning — “SEO for founders who don’t know where to start” is a very clear niche.
How are you thinking about differentiation long-term?
There are so many AI + SEO tools popping up. Is your edge the simplicity, execution guidance, or something else?
Curious how you see this evolving.

Clean launch, kwesi! SEO is one of those things that feels overwhelming when you're building solo. The 'don't know where to start' angle is spot on - there's so much noise out there about SEO tactics that it's hard to know what actually moves the needle for a small product. Curious about the ChatGPT traffic angle. Are you optimizing content to show up in ChatGPT responses, or is it more about using AI to create SEO content? That intersection feels like the next frontier for indie hackers who want to be found everywhere users are searching.
I like the positioning. The real value here feels like prioritization, not just features. How opinionated is the product about what to do first, second, third once you plug in a domain?
The AI visibility monitoring feature is what caught my eye. Most SEO tools are still stuck in the "rank on Google" paradigm, but the reality is that a growing chunk of discovery is happening through ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI overviews. Being able to track whether your brand gets mentioned in those responses is going to matter a lot more over the next year or two.
The 100+ spam-free directories list is also a nice touch. I've wasted so many hours submitting to directories that turned out to be link farms or completely dead. Having a curated, vetted list saves a ton of time for founders who just want to tick the box on basic link building without getting penalized.
One question — how does the auto-publish to blog work? Does it push directly to WordPress/Ghost/etc via API, or does it generate the content and you manually copy it over? The former would be a huge time saver, the latter is basically what every other AI writing tool does.
Wao Great Informations!
Congrats on the launch! The market definitely needs a simpler, founder-friendly alternative to the Ahrefs/Semrush monopoly.
Quick question regarding the keyword rank tracking feature: How does SEO Ladders handle the recent explosion of Reddit/Quora in the SERPs?
I ask because I've been tracking the daily volatility of about 800 UGC URLs on Google right now, and the churn is insane (over 56% of parasite threads drop off Page 1 within 48 hours).
Does your rank tracker differentiate between a traditional "stable" competitor domain and a highly volatile UGC thread? Or does it treat them all as standard blue links?
Either way, the UI looks super clean. Good luck with the beta!
I have the same question , also where can i access the beta
