KortexMail Development Update: Concluding Phase 1 and Advancing to Phase 2
Following our initial overview of KortexMail, I am sharing a direct update on our technical progress and next steps.
We have officially concluded Phase 1 of our beta. The real-world testing from this initial run was invaluable, allowing us to identify and implement essential bug fixes to stabilize our core infrastructure.
We are now actively transitioning into Phase 2, which will be launching very soon. This upcoming release includes several major updates designed to handle professional environments at scale:
Advanced Context-Awareness: We are deploying a significantly upgraded system architecture that deepens the AI's ability to seamlessly understand complex workflows and prioritize your inbox accordingly.
Custom Domain Integration: We are introducing full support for custom company domains. Please note that Phase 2 focuses entirely on providing access to work mail, while specifically excluding Gmail integration until our official certification process is finalized.

Congrats on wrapping Phase 1. Quick question on the pivot: your previous post mentioned Phase 2 would introduce custom domain support alongside Gmail. Now Gmail is excluded until certification. What certification process is this exactly, and how long do you expect it to take? For teams already using Gmail as their primary work email (which is a lot of small companies on Google Workspace), that exclusion might be a blocker. Would be helpful to know the timeline so potential users can plan around it.
Good question, Google is currently conducting a manual review of our product to verify how we process data and ensure strict user privacy, which typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. Once we clear this process, both Gmail and custom company domains will be fully supported in our official public launch after the beta.
