I am a big fan of iterations as a way of working and improving the product.
I have asked previously for your feedback and have now implemented some of the suggestions to my new/updated landing page (2.0).
Please, check it out and let me know what you think.
Simple and clean. Only nitpick for me would be to highlight or underline "Max Karacun" at the footer. I didn't know it was clickable just by looking.
Definitely will be fixed!
I love the idea! Subscribed. Imo, it would be nice to have comments for each trek.
Hey! thanks for subscribing. The comments section would definitely be nice but it would bring the complexity that at the moment is out of bounds for this MVP, but would keep the idea in the "future feature" backlog
Love this idea, and I like how clean the landing page is. Couple of questions / thoughts:
Hey, thanks for your feedback.
It's very interesting that you brought up the high-quality image banner at the top, I actually had it in my previous version of the landing page but decided to move away from it because I wanted to achieve a bit more simple look. But you are right, having that visual there might help to better trigger the emotion and communicate the value of the product. I will think about it and see how I can have it there but at the same time still retain a simple and clean look. Thanks!
Hey Max,
I love the idea.
I'm not sure about the USP. I think you could do a better job with the headline.
Life is short. Make only epic trails.
--> So what should I do epic trails..? Where is the big idea? Why do people want to do only epic trails? What does an epic trail mean?
Curated list of 100+ treks you should do before you die. Only the most inspirational treks on this planet.
--> I like the 100+ treks to do, I like the bucket list idea. I would elaborate on it.
Good luck. :)
Hey Niko, thanks for your honest feedback. I definitely agree that the current headline sucks so will experiment with it.
@maximal This looks cool. Would you like to post it in https://beta-outdoor.com/ ?
Hey, that actually looks interesting would definitely look into it. Thanks for the link.
Your email input box and submit button are slightly misaligned horizontally.
oh wow you have a good eye! didn't even notice it, but it does seem that its off by one or two pixels.
Tested in mobile, looks good
Try to test different titles. Current is not so clear, and got a full understanding after reading the description.
Also try to add Trails title before filters and change filters text to filter by
Hey! Thank you so much for your feedback, I definitely agree that title needs experimentation. Could you please explain what you mean with your last point about "add trails title before filters"?
Looks great - nice and minimal. Would definitely be a good idea to put logo on top left.

Hey, thank you for your feedback and for signing-up!
I think that the messaging is not clear at all and thats what can possibly create the confusion.
I envision EpicTrails to be a source of inspiration for treks.
I don't want to go the way of being the one comprehensive source of info about the particular trek (there are plenty of resources out there that provide much more detailed info about particular trails). I rather see it as a starting point of the research, somewhere you would go to get inspired and find the right trek that you would like to do.
I hope that answers your question. Do you feel there is a better way to communicate that purpose?

Thank you for your feedback.
I would like to hear more about the "too clean" factor. Do you feel like the design is not communicating the purpose of the site? or is it something else? Thanks!
